Gas Drilling contract info needed for SFL

this bear season, we arrived in Haneyville all set to drive bear behind camp in some of our honey holes. Showed up to the normal check tower and were told "You can't go through here, via foot or truck, turn around"
Effective immediately, any hunter wanting to access State Forest Land in that area can NOT walk/ride/drive on the roads/paths they are working on, EVEN IF it was a preexisting path. I feel this is a breech of contract but would like some help before I make the formal complaint and put some rear ends to the fire.
thanks!

Re: Gas Drilling contract info needed for SFL

Had this issue with a company around fishing season. They stopped us because my vehicle does look like that of a employee, I have some CB antennas and such on the truck, and I can see the resembelence.

They asked us what pad we were going to, told them we were going fishing, and they let us through.

I did inform the WCO that they were stopping cars, and he addressed the situation with the company later.

Re: Gas Drilling contract info needed for SFL

superx2nut, we have NO issue with them stopping us to check us, last year we actually got pretty friendly with the front gate employees. This year, they were saying NO ACCESS to SFL, period, through the roads. I'd like to know how they can take control over a trail that has been there and marked for 100's of years that was supposed to be left open to access.

drafting a big letter to DCNR.
