Been approached for railroad right of way?

Last week we were approached about purchasing a 66 foot railroad right of way through our place. They are now planning to use tanker rr cars to haul the butane and acetalene. The tractor trailers must not be able to keep up.
They want to use our industrial zoned frontage.

Any idea what that is worth?

The United States of America has the greatest people on earth.

Seek the advise of professionals. That not only includes an atorney, but a real estate professional with years of experience in commercial real estate.

Found this, you can take a look at the references as a start:

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.
