Anyone have a pipeline put in on their property

My dad called me tonight to say a gas company spokeswoman from Wellsboro is meeting with him and my uncle about a pipeline they want to build across our property at our camp. My family does not own the OGM's on our property. The gas company wants to tie a planned marcellus well into an existing pipeline by crossing our property. I don't know many details right now, but what kinds of questions should they ask before signing anything? I advised him to listen to her and then most likely get an attorney who is familiar with the gas issues as the next step. They already offered them over the phone $10/linear foot for the ROW, which sounds low to me?

Iím a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

attorney time before signing anything. Best advice I can give you. Way too many details to be addressed on a message board.

FWIW... Last summer ROW around here was $8./linear foot

Get a attorney for sure. 15 bucks here. Dealing with ROW right now...
