Advice needed

I'm a little late to the game and recently have had intereset around our camp property and gas. Any advice other than seek legal advice regarding leases and royalties that I should know?

I hunt deer in 2F, 5c/d. I hunt waterfowl in whatever unit they happen to be in on that day.

Re: Advice needed

From one Goose to another...don't spend all the money your gonna make on decoys.

Or, I spent all my money on boats and decoys, the rest I just wasted.

I've spent most of my money on Waterfowling, Women and Whiskey.
The rest of my money I just wasted.

Re: Advice needed

if you use a lawyer with ogm experiance, they should point out most things you need to know. i would recomend a lawyer who is in a area with a lot of gasfield activity. things seem to be changing all the time. pipeline ROI's, water line ROI's, how wide is construction ROI, how wide is maintance ROI. acess roads, compressor stations, pugh claus, only lease down to the marcellas level, anything below that is another lease down the road.
make sure you have say in where access roads and wells may be located. seperate contract if they want to put a water impoundment(pond) on your land.

good lawyer with ogm experiance

Your never to old to learn something stupid
