New to the site and to hunting

I’ve hunted in the water, but never on land. I spent a few years on Guam spearfishing reef and blue water. Now that I’m back in Delco it’s time to replace spearfishing with bow hunting deer, and shotgun for turkeys. I have firearms training and experience, but no actual hunting experience. I’m open to suggestions and advice. I hope to learn a lot here. Thanks.

Any chance you got after them sambar deer at all while in guam?!? I've done a bit of hunting there over the years, neat little island with quite a bit of hunting and fishing opportunities!
