Making an introduction

Hello, been viewing the site for a little bit now. I've been hunting pa since I can remember. Been licensed for 22 years. I live in northern Potter county 3A. This is my first year trapping for fox and coyotes. This has been a rough year for it but managed to get 3 fox so far. Hopefully I can get a yote one of these mornings.

Hello and welcome.

Listen, or your tongue will make you deaf.

"When a pine needle falls in the forest, the eagle sees it, the deer hears it, and the bear smells it."
an old First Nations saying

Hello!

I live in South Central PA and am new to the sport. I hope to get some insightful info from some experienced hunters/trappers. I am excited as I hear I am very lucky since PA is a great place to hunt. Most of my friends who hunt have friends or family who own land that they have been using for years, which is great. They have their spots and stands that they coordinate. However, I would prefer to go out and explore the state forests\game lands. This sounds like a more of a thrill. Eventually, I would like to make my way to an elk and/or moose out west. However, before I get ahead of myself I got some exploring to do in my own beautiful backyard. I want to do all of this in a safe and respectful manner, so I am looking forward to some solid tips and advice. I am happy to be here. Greetings everyone!
