Pittsburgh Coyote Hunting

I am new to this site, but not new to hunting in PA. Been a hunter all my life, but over the past three years I've really wanted to get into predator hunting. Finally saved up for a new rifle and some hand calls. I recently moved to Pittsburgh for a new job. I've got some permission to hunt on farms 30 mins north of the city without seeing any luck. Any tips on where else I should look for hunting spots? I've heard butler is pretty remote... I've considered making weekend trips to the Allegheny national forest, but I'm not exactly sure where to start. Any predator hunting tips would be appreciated. Cheers

Welcome to HPA. Thirty miles north of Pittsburgh would put you in Butler County. Go back and hunt again...no shortage of coyotes there.

Pennsylvania coyotes are so tough even the Foxpro staff doesnt specifically target them for a TV show. at least not any that i've seen. they do out west and other states but here in PA.

Good luck and welcome to HPA.
