What a difference a day or two makes. It looks like Amy and Pete dropping out has invigorated Old Joe. I was of the belief the pool of Dem candidates vying for the nomination would remain full and Bloomberg would manage to buy his way into a brokered convention, or funnier yet, Bernie would actually get the nod. Either way, a fairly easy Trump victory. The events leading up to Super Tuesday, and Super Tuesday itself, has stomped this idea into the ground.
It appears the Dems still have enough people in their midst with a modicum of common sense, and have decided to pursue an above board strategy to at least keep Bernie out and avoid a brokered convention, if not beat Trump. Even if that strategy involves nominating a senile man who will turn 80 while still in office ,if elected.
Biden looks like he has a good chance at getting the nomination, and with Bloomberg's money behind him, does pose a threat to gaining the White House. I'm betting Trump is not happy with the way things are shaping up. I'm certain his minions will be working overtime, mining for dirt on Old Joe and his kid.
Looks like it may be another close election in 2020.
