AR's

I would suggest that if you are sitting on the fence as to buy or not buy a AR - BUY IT. i have a couple and some large capacity magazine but like the five round magazines. I normally use a bolt rifle for hunting but when calling on the border I will take my AR with a couple of 20 round magazines in my pack plus one in the AR, also my 1911.

Already have one and intend on buying more. And I have about a half dozen 30 round mags as well with intentions of buying more.

NOBODY is going to lecturing me on what I NEED or should have.

I hope you don't think I was trying to lecture you on what you need or should have. I think that with these last two mass shooting that some draconian laws are going to be put in place in regards to magazine capacity and/or the purchase of AR's.

Out here we have the most relaxed laws in the USA. No permit required to carry concealed, no magazine size limit, no sheriff approval need to purchase.

I'm too upset over losing all of my guns in the mine subsidence that I don't think I'll replace any.........

I waited 10 years to buy my AR. i got it shortly after they lifted the gun ban. got my son one too. a couple years ago when they tried to ban all 30 round magazines i think i bought a dozen. all this anti gun talk does is drive sales. its good for the gun business.

i might buy a few more as an investment, just in case they ban all future sales and manufacture of Semi Auto rifles.

a few on my watch to buy list depending on pending legislation is:

high cap 9mm and a lot of high cap magazines

a mossberg shockwave

and....lots of ammo for every gun i own if they even try to pass legislation requiring a passport or Real ID to buy ammo. or lengthy waiting periods or a limit on the ammo you can buy.

No, not you, but other members here routinely like to tell people that they don’t “need” this or that and thus they shouldn’t have any problem with those being banned in the name of saving lives...

I understand the concerns of REAL ID but sadly the government already has records of what you purchased a where. They already know if you bought 1000 rounds of .223 here or 500 rounds of 9mm there. They know more than you think they know and I can assure you that anyone buying large amounts of ammo are watched very closely.

Nobody blinked an eye when Trump gave the go-ahead to ban bump stocks...Why the concern now?

not if i buy it all at a gun show, or pay cash at wal-mart or a gun shop instead of using a debit card.
