According to Jason La Canfora and Pro Football Talk, the Steelers will, in fact, lost a draft pick for Mike Tomlin’s actions on Thanksgiving against the Baltimore Ravens.
La Canfora said the league won’t decide on which pick to take away until the spring, when all of the compensatory picks are sent.
The report says while many thought it was just a threat, they will, in fact, lose a pick. If the tie-breaker of total points is used against the Ravens, it could be higher. La Canfora said either, the Steelers “will face draft-pick compensation. It’s not an either/or situation.”
How does this compare to Belicheat cheating for the better part of a decade?
On September 13, the NFL fined Belichick $500,000—the largest fine ever imposed on a coach in the league's 87-year history, and fined the Patriots $250,000. Additionally, the Patriots forfeited their first round draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
Just install an invisible fence in the white area, and make all coaches wear shock collars. If they cross the line, zap.
