Warren Sapp??? I really don't think he deserved to be a first ballot guy......

No, and if they were going to put a DL in, I'd have gone Haley. 5 SB rings, nuff said. Though in Sapp's defense, 99 sacks from the defensive tackle position is very impressive.

Bettis will get in evenualy,he ave.less than 4 yds per carry and wasnt close to being the best back in his era.Besides that he did nothing his last few years.
You dont get into the HOF being just good, you got to be gr8!
Theres no bias against the steelers we got guys in there that no bussiness being in there Lynn Swann comes 2 mind.

6th all time in rushing. More yards than Jim Brown. Super Bowl Champion. No passing game support at all.

Re: HOF Class of 2013

Look how long it took to get Cris Carter in. He has more touchdowns than Brown also. 130 I believe. Bettis will eventually get in but if it took Carter this long it will take Bettis a while.

yet, Curtis Martin gets right in? I like how there are 2 first ballot O-linemen this year, but it took Dermontti Dawson forever to get in........

At this point, I hope it takes him 4 more years. Him and Hines can go in together then.

Much to my chagrin, Hines will never get in........

Without Ward's blocking, Bettis wouldn't either.
