Steelers may sign Burress

Since Cotchery is hurt they are meeting with Burress. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Steeler uniform again.

I would. Head case before, head case now. I really would prefer to keep the team free of felons if possible. This isn't Cincinnati for crying out loud.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

He'd never fit in with the drunks, wife beaters, and alleged rapists on this team.

Thats funny!! I myself, have never looked up to anyone as a "Role Model". I think that is unfair and way too much pressure to put on anyone. I really don't know why so many people expect an Athlete to be anything more than what they are? They are simply "people" getting paid to do what they do.

Re: Steelers may sign Burress

Well, now that all of the old players are starting to crumble like saltine crackers, and let's face it, the defense isn't even close to what a Steeler defense should be, the 4 or 5 years it took to get a somewhat decent O line, do ya think we might consider a complete team overhaul? I would like to know what you guys think of the players and what we should do about this whole situation.
Polomolu (31), Taylor (32), Harrison (34), Foote (32), Hampton(35), Batch (37), Leftwhich (32), Mendenhall (free agent), Wallace (free agent), Ryan Clark (33 and a free agent), Kiesel (34), Sanders (restricted free agent).
and a bunch more.

Re: Steelers may sign Burress

I think there are a lot of people employed by the Steelers who get paid a lot of money to figure out such things? And by the way, they don't have OLD players on the team. But, they do have a lot of players who have played a lot of games and their bodies are now broken because of that. And they need to be replaced by fresh bodies. So they too can become broken bodies in a couple of years.

I didn't ask the steeler organization, I ask this forum.
