While hunting at Deerfield Plantation last week a nice surprise for us hockey fans occurred Wednesday night:
Stanley Cup winner Brad Marchand, winger for the Boston Bruins, rolled into camp accompanied by his father and grandfather, to get a little hunting in before the lock-out is resolved. All three gentlemen were a pleasure to hunt with. Friday morning Brad’s dad killed a medium sized hog. When we departed they had one more day to hunt so I hope they had a good day.
