High School Football

How are your local teams doing this year?

Our high school, Penn Manor Comets, are undefeated at 5-0 so far this season. Went to the game tonight... They beat Lancaster Catholic 28-14. Penn Manor has a real solid defense. The past few decades have not been kind to the Comets but the last few years they have turned the corner. They got a new coach, which I believe was the biggest factor for the turnaround.

Are the Berwick Bulldogs still putting solid teams together? Haven't heard how they are doing.

Where have you been? I had to work late... Oh these? Yeah, it was 'camo day' at work again .

Re: High School Football

Our team is 2-3. They've been good for years, but it almost seems as if the kids decided that showing up in purple and gold and being Ford City HS would be enough. They forgot that all the kids before them worked their butts off in the offseason, lifting, watching tape, and getting better so they could lay the foundation for a great team. These losers just don't care.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

FC is bad this year. The kids are running the exact same plays as they have been for 10 years, yet still can't execute them.
