The more I listen to BOB and the more I hear about BOB, I think he was an excellent choice for that job. I really like him. He's a players coach.

Since the football program has been pretty much gutted.

I'd say any win this season is a great win with all things considered.

Where have you been? I had to work late... Oh these? Yeah, it was 'camo day' at work again .

Re: PSU weekend..9/15

BOB will have his team back in the national rankings within the next 5 years, regardless of the sanctions.

Great people/teams look at adversity as opportunities, not excuses.

A lot of crow will be consumed by the haters over the next few years.

The only thing that concerns me right now is the ruling the NCAA has yet to make concerning players after the end of this season. Will the "cherry picking" coaches like from USC, Oklahoma, Illinois, have access to Penn State players who proved themselves during this season?

My understanding is that, right now, after the 2012 season ends and until the first day of fall camp players will be allowed to leave with no penalty. After fall camp starts they can only transfer under the rules all other teams abide by.

This is particularly troublesome with players like Robinson who is having a fantastic season. Other coaches are seeing his talent and likely will come a calling. Someone suggested that the NCAA should just conduct a PSU draft day so teams like Illinois can make their pitches.

Not only does BOB have to recruit new players he has to continue to recruit his current ones.

One lesson that transfers such as Redd and Brown have found out is that the grass is not always greener. They stated as motives for leaving was to play for a NC. Well those dreams have now faded into the pit of the other also rans.

Any win is big with this team and considering they are playing pretty dang well heading into a weak Big 10, it's good momentum.

The BOB plan is perfect, play hard work hard, stay classy in your comments, but hold on internally to the fire. I hope they hit the slimy Illini right in the teeth.

Kicking the Illini to the curb would be sweet.

“did you get all that on camera sport?”
