Great job guys. Already lagging far behind the "big three" you morons decide to have yet ANOTHER lockout and destroy hockey all together.

Re: Lockout Official

To be honest, I saw this day coming when the NHLPA hired Donald Fehr to head the union. Now we will see if the NHL owners are stronger than MLB owners.

Re: Lockout Official

I agree Randy. I think that NHL owners actually are stronger, and they've proven that. The only thing is that they know how harmful the last lockout was to their businesses. IMO, the owners can give the players a LITTLE more than they did last time. The last CBA was extremely one sided, with good reason, since up until then, the deals were too favorable to the players. Contracts need to be beneficial to both sides.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

Re: Lockout Official

Well said SF58. I think it's going to be a long time till we see any NHL hockey games. Guess we will have to go to a few AHL games this year.

Honesty is my only excuse.

The owners wont start feeling the pain until xmas or new years. Things may not moving until then.

Re: Lockout Official

Darn shame. The NHL was hitting its highest peek ever in the US and they went and pee'd it all away.

Am I right in saying 4th lockout since '94? The NHL and the Owners need to do something quick to make this season happy. It is critical for the fan base to continue that they do. It needs to be fair for both sides of course but a deal needs done.

Everyday fans will still be there but those casual fans just getting into it could be lost.

Re: Lockout Official

Malkin's first game in the KHL is on Thursday also hearing Letang might be going to KHL and Crosby to Finland.
