Where's my fellow Ravens fans???

There is probably only like 5 Ravens fans on this entire forum, but this is our year!!! We were just play or 2 away from the Big Show last year (cough, cough, Lee Evans, Billy Cundiff, cough, cough). Just resigned the best RB in the game, Flacco has a few years under his belt, Torrey Smith will have a break out year, and Lewis and Reed still anchoring the defense. Should be an exciting year!!!

You'll have to get someone other than Joe Choke-O to be a serious contender

Re: Where's my fellow Ravens fans???

Lewis hasn't anchored the defense in years. He's not any better than Farrior was. The best player on that defense will not play this year, and even if he does, he won't be himself. Reed is injury prone. Do you guys really think that that offense is so good that they can win shootouts every week? But to be totally honest, if I didn't love the Steelers so dearly, I may well be a Raven fan. The two teams may be the last two playing the game like it was meant to be played---PHYSICAL!!

He didn't choke last year. In the playoff game vs the Pats last year, Lee Evans dropped the game winning TD pass and Cundiff missed the game tying FG. Not Joe's fault at all.

Ray Lewis is the leader on defense. Maybe not as much as a physical player as he used to be, but he is the vocal and emotional leader. Haloti Ngata is one of the best D-tackles in the game. Reed may be injury prone, but what 31 year old professional football player isn't?

Can we win a shootout every week? Maybe not. All I have to say that we won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at QB. Flacco is much better than Dilfer.

Agreed--but Lewis was in his prime. Ngata is a beast though. Lewis is at the point where Ward was. You no longer game plan for him any differently than any other linebacker. Ngata and Suggs are different.

Re: Where's my fellow Ravens fans???

Ray missed 3 games last year and still led the team in tackles. If you are the team leader in tackles on a defense like that....you're still good. Granted, he only had 2 sacks to Suggs' 14, but T-Sizzle was the defensive player of the year after all.

In Bodymore, Murderland. No wonder Ray Lewis was always a perfect fit.

Obstruction of justice...not murder. I believe that Ben was tried for rape??? Heinz Ward - DUI? Every team has their problems. My only problem is Steeler fanboys.
