Brickyard 400 at Indy

Boring race as usual, but did anyone else notice that the place was only about 50% capacity? Does anyone go to NASCAR races anymore. Myself, I haven`t enjoyed it since the put resrictor plates on the carburators and changed the wings on the cars, put flap that keep the cars from going airborne and all of the safety crap the drivers use inside the car. Part of the fun of nascar are good crashes and such. They have safety`d the race fun right out of the race.

Tickets too expensive and never the same since Earnhardt died. I can see a shortened schedule, with several tracks losing the second race date.

I agree with that as well. It has gotten too big for it`s britches as they say.
