What if....

The Flyers ended up playing the Kings in the finals? It'd be like New Flyers vs. Old Flyers. And, knowing the kind and generous nature of Flyer fans, I'm sure Carter and Richards would receive warm and cordial welcomes when the Kings come to town.

I think it would be great! Esp for the people who follow the game and know the background of the whole deal. I would love to see McFloater and Tin Man watch this "new" Flyers team hoist the cup ! Thanks party boys for the great team you have give'n us !!!!

Honesty is my only excuse.

Re: What if....

But what if the Kings won? Would that be an extra crushing blow?

Re: What if....

If the Flyers keep playing like their 'effort' on Tuesday, I would be happy with a Finals Appearance.

In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

You won't see them in the finals with that type of performance repeated very often.

You really under estimated the ramifications of the boondoggle you have just perpetrated!

That makes no sense???? So you're saying the Philly fans would boo Richards and Carter. Richards was 'the flyers' and represented you knuckle heads as captain with all his heart. He was a great player and left against his will yet you dont like him? No wonder Flyers fans have such a bad wrap (among many other reasons ). At least we have reason to hate Jagr as he left on terrible terms. You guys just hate everyone not associated with the Flyers lol.

Re: What if....

You'd think they would applaud Richards and Carter because trading those guys helped the team become what it is now. For instance, I would never boo Goligosky when the Pens play Dallas.

Re: What if....

Trout.... You sound like a convert . I also don't think many Flyers fans were real happy with all the trades. I think Holmgren + Co. got real lucky getting almost instant return on what they gave up.

Yes, he was a pretty good player but he did not deserve the 'C' on his jersey. He was not a good leader and it showed. You just knew something was eating the Flyers locker room up last season and it was Richards.

I was shocked when they were both traded (carter and Richards), but I was honestly happy they did it. You just knew they'd never go far with them.

Where have you been? I had to work late... Oh these? Yeah, it was 'camo day' at work again .
