In the wake of this disaster

What changes do the Penguins need to make for next year? I realize that Trask will want to trade the D en mass, senf MAF to the minors, fire Bylsma perhaps take Sid and Geno off the PP and I have no doubt that the Flyer fans will have all kinds of funny (to them) and creative suggestions, but what should be done realistically?

Re: In the wake of this disaster

maybe melt down the ice and consider converting them to water polo players.

Life's too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

Re: In the wake of this disaster

!st thing I would do is stiffen up the D. You need more than one good Dman. The second thing I'd do is seperate 71 & 87 on the PP. Get them on two different units and get those two to play a little more D. It makes life a little easier for the others that play both sides of the puck. I think Fluery is fine but he can only be as good as the guys in front of him.

Honesty is my only excuse.

Re: In the wake of this disaster

First thing is to try to get rid of Martin. Way over paid for the talent. They need some defensive defensemen. Orpik is starting to show some age and making alot of mistakes. The team lacks the heart of a champion and that certain something to win it all right now. Fleury is way over rated. Ask Neal where he was for the playoffs? Stop getting beat by defensive rookies. Am I [censored] off about this series and the heart of the Pens-you bet
