KC Royals players arrested.

Every member of my Kansas City Royals starting line up was arrested for hitting thier wives. At their arrainment the charges were dismissed when the judge looked at their batting averages. He didn't believe any of them could possibly be effective hitters........... Keystonepaul

no less effective than the Buccos.

Just curious, are you from KC or do you just like the Royals?

Re: KC Royals players arrested.

Nope I grew up right next to Scranton. The first world series I remember being interested in as a kid was the Reds and Red Sox. liked the big red machine. I guess watching the Royals battle the yanks on WPIX (if it was WPIX)mad eme a Royals fan.None better than George Brett, full of talent and as fiercly competitive as anyone in the league at the time.George Brett, Amos Otis, Hal McCrae,Freddie Patek, Frank White, Paul Splitorf and his glasses, Larry Gura, etc, etc, etc, lots of memories. THanks for letting me take the walk down the memory lane!
With Football I used to stay awake in bed until my brothers fell asleep then go back downstairs to watch Monday Night Football with Dad and eat cheese crackers and pepperoni. I do remember watching the Seahawks fake a field goal one night, thinking that coach wanted to win and they were my team from then on. It might have been thier first year in the league. My poor son is doomed I should buy him a NY Giants and Yankee hats and let him have some joy over the next 50 years. Oh well, hope springs eternal each year. Got out to KC with my Dad back in the late 80's/early 90's (my Uncle lived 3 hours away in Derby). Bo Jackson was astoundly quick! enjoy the season Q2XL12. Keystonepaul
