Re: A great day in the Burgh!

Lots of fans from Philadelphia in town this weekend. I will say they come out every time when the Phillies are here. It was nice to send them home in defeat though. Especially after spending all their hard earned money here

The Penguins winning I expect, but the Pirates were a nice surprise.

Re: A great day in the Burgh!

pittsburgh needs something to cling to. why can't it be the two most meaningless games in baseball and hockey? whats the most meaningless series in the baseball season? the first one. whats the most meaningless game in hockey? the last one when the seeds are already locked up. the penguins have already clearly displayed in the last two years that they are completely incapable of handling the flyers. I'm not too worried.

Pens will gladly give up the season series and continue to own the dirtballs in the playoffs (recent history), where it counts.

We don't have to cling to anything. We actually live on the nice side of the state.

When is jersey gonna annex that cesspool anyhow?

Re: A great day in the Burgh!

I think the question is, when are we going to rename it east pittsburgh, put all the yinzers on it and then make jersey into an island.
