Steelers fans is it true?

Did the Steelers corner back Gay sign with the cardinals? Is it really true? I thought I saw it on the bottom of the NFL channel screen but wanted confirmation before celebrating.

I did not think he was that bad of a player but at the same time I am not going to shed any tears over it. We have some young talent that is ready to step in.

He's an OK guy to have at nickel if you can't get anyone else. That's the best thing I can really say about his performance.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

Re: Steelers fans is it true?

I'll be happy to say his performance was sub-par and we need to see what our recent draft pick corners can do or draft some real talent at that position, we would have a good defense if Ike was our 2nd best CB but we get burnt way too much. When your only okay at nickel and can't play anything else you shouldn't be in the NFL. Hopefully our new guys will be a little better.

He played well last year but he is replaceable. No sleep lost over that one.

Re: Steelers fans is it true?

He played real well last year because he was in the right situation most of the time.He was 2nd on the team in passes defensed last year.He got torched by Torrie Smith in the Baltimore last second loss, but in his defense,he should never have been put in single press coverage with no help over the top.

Hopefully one of the threee young guys can step up and take his place.

Bye, bye....

He felt the heat from the others getting ready to step in and take his place..Read between the lines and got out of dodge...Plus, he got a two year contract....

When the Steelers needed him the most, he was toast...

Re: Steelers fans is it true?

There is a new rumor that Wallace is expecting a $100 million contract. If this is the case, he will be here one more season, and then gone. No way, no how do they pay him that kind of bank. If they do, they have gone officially out of their minds and into Dan Snyder land. Somehow, I have to imagine that they can manage to find someone who can run a quick 40 and blow the top off of coverage. Brown has that ability already. If he wants that much, he needs to do a lot more. He needs to go across the middle, maybe start returning kicks, and I'd really like to see him start knocking defensive linemen on their butts with some savage blocks. I dare him to try a holdout.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.
