Re: Penn State Wrestling

That David Taylor is a beast and only a sophomore!

All-American David Taylor (St. Paris, Ohio), the top seed at 165, ripped off his third straight pin of the tournament, this time decking No. 8 Robert Kokesh of Nebraska in only :29. Taylor used a low single leg to put Kokesh to the mat then finished off a cradle for the fall in just :29. Taylor, now a two-time All-American, rolls into the semifinals this evening.

29 seconds in the NCAA tourney!? Good gravy

I'd like to see him try to pin The Nature Boy, Rick Flair in 29 seconds!

Re: Penn State Wrestling

I'd like to see Rick Flair urinate himself when he steps into the ring against Cael.

I see the team coming from practice every week in Rec Hall. Note to self, Do. Not. Mess. With. Cael.

I have absolutely no idea who those people are. This is a thread about wrestling.

Re: Penn State Wrestling

5 finalists and Alton is still alive going for no less than 5th. PSU is around 30 points up on the field.

I've been watching the semis on ESPN 3 this evening. Taylor has pinned his way through the tournament and Ruth got a tech in the semis.

Pretty dominant all around. One or two wins tomorrow will clinch the title.

9 of the finalist have PA ties.

Re: Penn State Wrestling

Can someone explain the Quentin Wright overtime loss? I don't know how that was a takedown for Bozak. Just curious since I don't know all the ins and outs of scoring
