I think that if we really had the chance to meet these guys, we'd find that the vast majority of them are pretty good guys. We tend to forget this, because only unusual stuff makes the news, and bad news sells. Case in point--ESPN never said a word about Troy playing spur of the moment tag football with a bunch of little kids in Arizona, or when he bought dinner for everyone at Eat N Park one night. But if Ben got a parking ticket, they would lead Sportscenter with it, unless Tom Brady had liposuction and a facelift that day. That aside, Smith always was a great team guy. I have always wondered what his numbers would have looked like playing a 4-3 where he was a pass rusher instead of being basically a blocker. He'll be missed, as a player, and especially as a leader.
