Re: Steelers release more

Sorry to see Smith, Farrior and Hines go. Kemoeatu, not at all.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Steelers release more

Anyone want to take bets on who will be the next to go ?
I am sure there are a few more cuts yet to come. I am also really suprised they did not put a tag on Wallace with all this cap room they are creating.

A lot of leadership, both on and off the field, being lost.

I Agree on Kemoeatu

For those who fought for it, Life has a flavor the protected will never know.

Re: Steelers release more

Sepulveda is actually a FA this year and I dont think they will bring him back. Since he was drafted, each year the Steelers made the SB he has been on IR. We all love the guy but he cant stay on the field. I look for Kapinos to be the punter.

2F for a while...

Re: Steelers release more

Sepulveda should be released. So should those other guys, really. The one concern I do have is that there isn't really a guy waiting in the wings to take Farriors place. Kapinos does fine and we can easily replace Wards two dozen catches. You'd hope Heyward will improve as time goes on. But who will be the next inside linebacker? Worilds? Sylvester?

Re: Steelers release more

I agree as well on Sepulveda. What is the deal with McFadden? IMO, he could easily go and not be missed as well.

On a side note, the Steelers really need a reliable kicker with a decent leg. Suisham cannot be counted on to make that clutch kick from 45+ yards to win a game. Not a knock on the guy, he just doesn't posses that kind of skill set.

Re: Steelers release more

I wouldn't be surprised if the next to go is Harrison. He has been getting fined and suspended lately, he has a bad back, he's 33 years old. He has a lot of negatives against him.

I know most of you will not agree with me, but it's a possibility.
