Nationals block ticket sales to Phillies fans

What a joke. What does this really say about their own fan support? A bunch of sore LOSERS!

I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Re: Nationals block ticket sales to Phillies fans

Now you know how Steeler fans have been treated for years. And Steeler fans don't have the sort of reputation as Philly fans have earned.

Were not going to apologize for caring. Were not.

Re: Nationals block ticket sales to Phillies fans

Why would a fan of their team want any fan from another team in their stadium? You act like people should just accept you Philly fans everywhere. Too bad. It's not a slight against Philly fans. They just don't want the opposing team having any support in THEIR stadium. Get over yourself.

In the Nationals case, they're going to have an empty stadium if they block sales to opposing teams' fans. They're even worse than the Buccos

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

On August 20, 2011 the Nationals set their all time attendance record of 44,685. Guess who the opposing team was?

They likely set their record for most arrests in one game that night, too. I understand what the Nationals are trying to do, however, might I present a different solution. Try doing what the Steelers do. Put an awesome team on the field, be good to your own fans, and listen to what they want. Following this formula, the Steelers have been able to sell out all of their home games since the early 70s. Do other fans show up? Sure, but nobody can hear the 50 who do.

Were not going to apologize for caring. Were not.

Re: Nationals block ticket sales to Phillies fans

The point is, the nationals have no hope of selling out their stadium by their own. They have virtually zero hope of selling it out to any other team. When they phillies are in town, they have their best chance of selling it out because no fan base in baseball travels like the phillies. Its really pretty silly to see their ownership (and for the record, dennis) get all upset over it. You either except that nationals park will always be citzens bank south or you except that you'll be looking at a bunch of empty seats. seems like they've gone with the latter.

btw they didn't block ticket sales entirely, they're just letting nationals fans get first crack at the may 4-6 series and encouraging them to buy up to 8 seats. phillies fans will most likely later be buying those seats on stub hub for below face value.

Life's too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

ch..ch..ch..*click*..BOOM

Re: Nationals block ticket sales to Phillies fans

I'd really like proof of your statement that Philly fans travel better than any other baseball fans. They travel well to Pittsburgh and Washington sure. But I'd like you to provide me with some evidence vefore I believe they travel better than any other team.
