Re: Looking for work

Some desperate team will pick him up. Maybe the Bears. I heard the Texans worked out Jeff Garcia along with a bunch of no name QBs. The QB situation is so bad in the NFL, teams will tryout anybody who can throw a football with some semblance of a spiral.

Its funny until somebody gets hurt, then its hilarious

There's been some Favre rumblings as well but he denies any interest.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Looking for work

I think theres a fairly decent chance the eagles will pick him up and he'll finish out the season and retire an eagle with andy reid. thats the way it should have been 2 years ago.

Life's too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

ch..ch..ch..*click*..BOOM

The problem is, Donovan still thinks that he has skillz.

In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Still? How can he "still" think he has skillz, when he never had them in the first place?

Re: Looking for work

He put up good #s in Philly for a while. Really, really good numbers. I can't recall the specifics, but I was surprised to actually see them.

IMO, that is why he thinks he's some kind of #1 QB.

During the NFL Network interview the other night, he pushed the blame on everyone but himself.
He wants to go to a team with
- solid defense
- running game
- a couple of weapons on the outside
- a good locker room

You don't look for something you perceive to already have.

While I think it's time for Andy Reid to take a hike, his system is what made McNabb a #1 QB.

Sounds like he wants to be a Steeler!
