Steelers: NFL officials aren't protecting Ben Roethlisberger
Seems like EVERY WEEK a steeler is complaining about roethlisberger not getting protection from officials. oh no! not your perfect steelers! at least when vick gets hit he doesn't immediately throw the ball to the other team or self-destruct in a fit of fumbles. For 3 weeks vick has been getting hit after the whistle and after throwing the ball. For the last 2 weeks it probably cost the Eagles the game. thats not being a poor sport, its being frustrated. if you're going to create a standard of sportsmanship you should probably check your own team first.
I bet Marino would love to say he had the lowest QB rating of any Super Bowl winning QB. Fair or not, QBs are, always have been and always will be measured by championships won. Montana was not a better passer than Marino. Not even close. But Montana won 4 Super Bowls, including one against Marino. I do agree with Vick to the extent that we all know that if his name plate said Brady, Manning or Brees, there would be a lot of flags. You will not hear Ben whine about getting hit, though. His teammates might, but he won't.
Anyway, since you want to discuss QB ratings:
79.3 career rating, 97 TDs, 60 INTS,
32 Rushing Tds, 73 fumbles
2-3 postseason record, 0 Conference Championships
Team record 49-36-1
90.9 career rating, 147 Tds, 90 INTS
14 Rushing Tds, 49 Fumbles
10-3 postseason record, 3 Conference Championships,
2 Super Bowl titles
Team record 81-33
