Looks like Haynesworth and Burress are the rumors. Does the reward outweigh the risk?

The last I'd heard the Eagles have zero interest in Burress. If they were smart they'd feel the same way about the other one too.

On Haynesworth, MAYBE. He was OK as a team guy in Tennessee, but fell apart in Washington due to defensive philosophy differences, which, in reality, is not something that he should be involved with. Burress, on the other hand, is a psycho head case who is lazy and stupid. The Eagles would be insane to take a chance on him, he's just not worth it. Yes, he made a nice catch in the SB, but he's blown a thousand chances just like it in his career, like when the stupid idiot dropped a TD that would have put us within a TD with 14 mins to go in the 4th qtr at home vs the Cheatriots in the 2005 AFC Title game. The Steelers had the good sense to jettison the garbage as soon as they had the chance. The rest of the NFL should do the same.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

The Eagles would be better off without Burress. He's lazy and undedicated.

Hunting: 10% skill and 90% location.

From a football only standpoint, his skill set does not mesh well with Andy Reid's West Coast system. He's a long striding runner, which makes him faster than he is quick, and quick is what you need in that offense, along with football intelligent. They struck gold with Vick (so far), but compared to Burress, Vick is Einstein.
