He can't make the money he used to.

He'll just go to the NFL. It's surprising he didn't do that sooner.

It's ashame talent like that doesn't come with a brain.

I have doubts he'll make it in the NFL, no matter what position he gets slotted into. His ONLY chance will be going somewhere where discipline is high on the list of responsibilities. And even then it will be iffy.

Re: Pryor's Done at OSU

Apparently he bankrolled 40 grand in the last year selling signed gear. IRS now has a reason to go in and look. OSU's troubles may now begin in earnest.

Who's next to bail? The remaining Tat 5, AD Smith, Pres Gee?

Big 10 needs to come out and start doing some damage control for the conference before the virus spreads to them, if it hasn't already.

Wonder what kind of car Pryor was driving when he left town?

What else would he be driving? A fancy sports car.

Re: Pryor's Done at OSU

Now that Pryor doesn't have to worry about driving used cars and earning chump change by selling signed equipment, I wonder how much cash OSU boosters will have to pony up to have him keep his mouth shut.

Re: Pryor's Done at OSU

"Later Tuesday night, "Outside the Lines" reporters Tom Farrey and Justine Garber reported that a friend of Pryor's, who requested anonymity, says he witnessed the quarterback autographing memorabilia in 2009-10 a minimum of 35 to 40 times and that Pryor netted anywhere from $20,000 to $40,000 last year for doing so.

The former friend told ESPN that Pryor was paid $500 to $1,000 each time he signed mini football helmets and other gear for a Columbus businessman and freelance photographer, Dennis Talbott."

So what is the problem?

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

Re: Pryor's Done at OSU

I was told by several people who knew him in Jeanette, Pa. that he had people doing his homework, taking his tests, etc. Guess he got used to special treatment and then went too far.
