This is a masterpiece of deductive reasoning and investigative expertise. The professionalism of the writer relative to his ability to follow the thread and make the connections that lead to such an obvious conclusion is not only worthy of great praise but international notoriety as well.
Someday, when Kim Kardashian is elected to the Presidency of the United States of America, this piece of analytic journalism will be carved into the facade of the Washington Monument in 3 foot high letters.

Only problem is that the juice was already on the Bills in 1970 having been drafted in 69. Waugh!

The first selection 1969 AFL-NFL Common Draft was held by the AFL's Buffalo Bills, after finishing 1121 in 1968. They took Simpson, but he demanded what was then the largest contract in professional sports history: $650,000 over five years. This led to a standoff with Bills' owner Ralph Wilson, as Simpson threatened to become an actor and skip professional football. Eventually, Wilson agreed to pay Simpson. Waugh!
