What do you guys think ? A lot of night games. Looks pretty tough to me too. Not real crazy about opening against Baltimore either. Players are going to be banged up on both sides before the season even gets started.
I like the late bye week. I also like the final 5 games of the season. Cincy, Browns, 49ers, Rams and Browns again.
My thoughts are the same. Its nice when the tail-end of the season is easier. Also, being able to rest some players against the Browns for the playoffs if needed. Actually we could probably rest all of our starters without too much to worry about.
I like the late bye also. The only thing that scares me is I am heading for Jamaica for my honeymoon when we play Baltimore ! No matter what happens I will be rollin through
Negril wearing my black and gold. I am praying we get there in time for kickoff !
I lost alot of interest in football with this lockout nonsense.
Now I saw on the bottom line last night that a group of players are banding together to get their own seat in the labor talks because they were jacked some players walked out on the mediation last week.
Not sure what the fuss is about. I may be wrong, but I honestly don't think there will be a season this fall.
The NFL made $9 billion last year. They aren't going to walk away from that just out of stubbornness and stupidity. I kinda like the late bye, since that will give Troy a week off to rehab his injury. I am already conceding that he will be hurt again at some point this year. And then we have another bye week in Week 17. But none of this matters if they don't get a guard who can start right away, like Pouncey did, so they can replace Foster or the Blob, preferably both. I have lost all faith in the fat moron we have at left guard after his atrocious performance in the SB. IMO, the blame for Lombardi #7 not being in its rightful place lies solely at the doorstep of #68. If he doesn't manage to overcome physics and get bullrushed at his own goal line making Ben throw the Pick 6, or commit the most idiotic block in the back penalty I have ever seen in 25+ years of watching football, we win this game EASILY. You cannot overcome turnovers. The INT was 1000000% his fault, and the block in the back negated a nice long run, and the drive stalled, which is the same result as a turnover, since it reversed any momentum the Steelers had.
We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.
