Personally, just not a fan of watching cars go around in a circle all day.

Re: where are all the nascar lovers?

I don't watch it nearly as much since my Dad passed. He was a big Tony Stewart fan. I watch here and there and keep up with the points race but not every minute of every race.

For those of you who can't stand to watch cars go in a circle for hours I highly reccomend going to see a race live. All you'll see is a rainbow colored blur going around in circles. TV does no justice to how fast they are really going.

Did Pocono a few years ago, it was a good weekend.

I went to the Michigan race several years ago. I've never seen that many drunk people in one place before, or since. It's all about the money any more. Just not as fun........

Don't take yourself so seriously.......no one else does....

I still watch it, but like was said before, not like I used to. Its a shame because I think the racing is truly better nowadays, but the corporate crap is killing them. You cant get an opinion out of a driver anymore without them turning it into a sales pitch.

Never underestimate pride; it can be a Man's greatest strength or his worst enemy

Been to Charlotte on race day. My brother in law lives down there. At the end of the day, all I did was watch a bunch of cars go around in a circle. The only difference was, I got sunburnt. lol

Re: where are all the nascar lovers?

nascar took a good race series and ruined it years ago. all about corporate and money. had to have 2 races california track cuz corp wanted it, took the southern 500 date for that....and they cant even sell half the seats out at that race. they try to give tickets away just to get people in the stands, and still cant.

got to be politicaly correct with every thing they say........not that i'm a jr fan, but remeber when he got fined for swearing on tv ? what do you think his daddy would have thought of nascar after that?

nascar called ryan numan into hauler to silently(not publicly) warn him not to badmouth nascar in front of the press or he would face consequences

cant tell a chevy from a ford/ toyota, unless you see the emblem on them. cant get anyone to talk without listing a string of sponsers...etc...etc

i still look at website, watch a highlite or maybe the end of a race, but am not much of a fan anymore.

by the way, i have been to louden, watkins glenn, pocono, dover ,richmond, and bristol...to see races. hands down best was bristol, but that was before they changes the track and even made that place boring. richmond was a close second.

Your never to old to learn something stupid
