Pens/Caps

I had to start this early because I'll be at work by gametime. You guys will have to do the heavy lifting.

On a related note: Wasn't it easier to hate Ovechkin when he was scoring more and Sid wasn't hurt? Dont get me wrong, I still hate him. I'll probably hate him more by the end of the night.

Hunting: 10% skill and 90% location.

Re: Pens/Caps

I have a bad feeling that the Pens are going to get an old fashion butt whoopin tonight. They are starting Engelland, Lovejoy and Strait against the Caps, lol. I envision something to the tune of 5 or 6-1 Caps with Ovechkin scoring at least 2.

You forget the Caps are struggling to score goals too?

Re: Pens/Caps

Sterling sure does look lost out there on the point on the power play.

Re: Pens/Caps

Pens now are trailing after they didn't cash in 2 shorty chances.

Were not going to apologize for caring. Were not.

Re: Pens/Caps

Typical Pens "domination" game. They absolutely dominate down low and out shoot their opponent only to get beat by a team that manages to get a shot through. They have absolutely NO offensive finishers in that lineup and it shows. They have had multiple great opportunities to net one and haven't been able to finish. In this situation, the Pens need to win 1-0 and 2-1 games or at the very least get to OT to get the point.

Oh well, I sure hope that they are looking at Neal as a long term solution because if Sid doesn't come back this year, they aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. It would really stink if they gave up Gogo only to get another rent a winger to finish out a lost season.

Neal is signed thru next season. This was a move for the future as much as the right now.
