Re: Pens vs Isles

It's bad enough that the Pens let one in early against a bottom feeder because of poor play in the d zone but now Adams has to go out there and get his face smashed in and get the crowd even more into it? He is a terrible fighter.

These are the types of teams that they Pens have to beat while Sid is still out to keep pace in the East. They can't have their butts handed to them against the bottom feeders of the league.

Re: Pens vs Isles

This team is pathetic right now. Can't even get out of their own zone.

This team is going nowhere. All that money that they spent on Micahlek and Martin and they get beat constantly out there.

Re: Pens vs Isles

Perfect. Now Letang hurt bad.

Islanders fan on the hockey forum said today that the Isles were calling up goons to take liberties on the Pens. He said that they were upset with Letang's hit on Comeau earlier this season and then with Talbot's last game. Add to the fact that Johnson smashed DP's face last game and they are all riled up. It appears that they are beginning to goon it up on the Pens because they have nothing to lose this season. Tavares just slashed Letang in the knee.

I'm serious. Sit all the Pens starters for the rest of the year and start again next year. Either that or tank this year and get a good draft pick. They are going nowhere with this lineup. All they have left is their D and goaltending and now it looks like Letang is probably done. Call it a season boys.

Re: Pens vs Isles

Tanger may have to own Tavares later.
