Eagles hire Juan Castillo?

The Eagles promoted their OFFENSIVE line coach to DEFENSIVE coordinator?I heard on the news he hasn't coached any defense since he coached a High School team over 20 years ago They're kidding, right?

This is their idea of an upgrade? Back when Jim Johnson died I was afraid that we would wander in the wilderness with no "D" and my fears are coming true it seems.

The best defense is a good offense.

Re: Eagles hire Juan Castillo?

Seems like a very odd choice in my opinion. With all the injuries on defense this year, even with some of the questionable calls on D, I still think keeping things intact for at least another year or so were in order.

Where have you been? I had to work late... Oh these? Yeah, it was 'camo day' at work again .

Re: Eagles hire Juan Castillo?

On the positive side....

Castillo hasn't failed somewhere else before.

Castillo knows the team.

Even if they hired a DB coach from the Steelers/Packers they haven't been a D Coordinator and had to call plays before either.

On the negative side:

What the HECK is Andy Reid thinking?

The guy was an Offensive LINE coach?????

What the HECK is Andy Reid thinking?

Seriously?

Juan CASTILLO?

Seriously????

Live, Love, Laugh.

If that don't work...

The guy hasn't even coached defense at any capacity since 1989!!
