The Pro Bowl

I guess they introduced defensive players, but none actually played. 55-41??? Is this really what the game is going to be?

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

Re: The Pro Bowl

Come on now...you know the Pro Bowl is nothing less than a showboat affair. Different rules, no actual game play. I don't even know why they keep score. It's just fun for the athletes....it's not a competition, that's for sure.

You really under estimated the ramifications of the boondoggle you have just perpetrated!

Re: The Pro Bowl

The way Roger's running the league, that may be how pro football is next year. They won't keep score, everyone will be a winner, everyone gets a trophy, so we don't have anyone with hurt feelings, like YMCA youth soccer. After all, it may be the only way he can make sure his golden boys Manning and Brady get to raise a trophy.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

I haven't watched the pro bowl in years. Don't get me wrong I love my football but that game has always been a joke. I can understand these guys don't want to get hurt, but it's just not even fun to watch.

Re: The Pro Bowl

The most exciting part of that game was when the younger guy(s) ran on the field and were dragged off by security.

That game is a joke.

That right there is the problem. It's not football. My daughter's brownie troop plays more physical, hard hitting games than the pro bowl presents.

Re: The Pro Bowl

I watched the second quarter. There was no intensity. I loved how the linemen basically stood up out of their stance and played patty cake.

Same old story for that game. When I was little I just liked watching all the competitions throughout the week leading up to it. I don't even know if they do that anymore.

2F for a while...

Re: The Pro Bowl

Pro Bowl is a joke. Especially now that its a week before the Super Bowl! Why if I were any of the Super Bowl coaches, my players would not be allowed at the game. I tried to watch one years ago. When I seen the players only acting like they wanted to play. I turned it off for good!
