The Draft

Steelers take O-line first and second round, anyone else agree?

Never underestimate pride; it can be a Man's greatest strength or his worst enemy

Re: The Draft

Typically... yes. However this year I think they'll pick a cornerback and a linebacker.

Re: The Draft

Depends on where they are drafting. Stalwart o linemen aren't generally available at the #32 slot. Neither are lock down corners. I don't see LB going first or second though. Maybe a good 3-4 defensive lineman. Or they can move up in the draft.

Re: The Draft

A lot of Steeler's best players come from the 3rd.
Is this the draft we get the 3rd pick from the Jets for the trade of Holmes?

Re: The Draft

They only got a 5th for Holmes. You always get ripped off in those deals. The only advantages are that 1)at least you get something, and 2)You get to pick where he goes. That way, you don't have to deal with him in the division.

Re: The Draft

I'd like to see them get a guard but,as mentioned, you dont usually find franchise guards drafting 32nd.

Re: The Draft

IMO, if they have a shot to move up and get Pouncey's brother, they should think it over. I'd like a fullback.

Like this guy

He even looks like a Steeler.

Re: The Draft

I like to see them shore up the O-line and think about a good cover cornerback as well.

Re: The Draft

Any DB they draft MUST be able to tackle, blitz and be useful in run support, or they have no place for him here. O line is a need, but I don't know if they should replace Kemo or Foster.I would like to see them get a guard who isn't a fat slob and can actually run block and get to the second level, like Faneca could. Kemo is too fat to move. I actually like our tackles, though.

Re: The Draft

its apparent that pitt corners dont have to cover very well they havent had a decent corner since woodson left.if the pass rush doesnt get to rodgers he will show the nation how much of a liability pitts corners are.
