pee in each other's boots about Philly's quarterb

Just following orders.

Carson Wentz did a great job so far this season, but so has the defense.
He didn't win the games single handed and had a lot of help on the other side of the ball but you have to understand Eagles Fans excitement since we haven't had a QB that has this much potential since McNabbs 5th season.

Big Ben had a good run now its the other side of the states turn to enjoy a quality passer.

Wishing the best for Wentz. I really never had a problem with the Eagles. At the same time you act as if Bens career is over after this season. He still has a good four or five years left. Maybe more.

Tom Brady is 39 and Ben is 34.

Re: pee in each other's boots about Philly's quarterb

If Ben stopped playing today in five years he should be in Canton, OH.
If his health holds out 4 or 5 years more playing time is very doable.
If the Steelers keep playing like they did the chance of landing another blue chip QB thru the draft as his replacement does not look good.
The only good thing Chip Kelly did for this team was to play bad enough to have Wentz fall into the Eagles laps.....well I guess Howie had something to do with it too.

Since 1990 the highest draft pick we have had in the first round was Plaxico Burress at number 8. The next highest was Ben at number 11. Makes its tough to get a franchise guy when you never pick in the top 10.

True, but what round was Tom Brady taken in again???

Antonio Brown?

Jerry Rice?

It sure helps when the scouts and the coaching staff is really good at finding those diamonds in the rough...

How many other top 10 picks at QB have failed miserably?

Brady is probably one of the most unlikely scenarios we'll ever see in our lifetime.

Sure there were a lot of top 10 QB picks that have failed but at the same time was it all on them or the team they were playing for ?

Maybe some of those failures would of panned out if they were on a team with a better system, players, and coaches.

Where would Ben be today if he played for the Browns his entire career ? You have to wonder.

I like the odds of a top 10 QB pick turning into something compared to a 5th or 6th rounder.

If you're picked in the top 10 that usually mean you have all the physical tools necessary to be an elite player.

Re: pee in each other's boots about Philly's quarterb

Still no respect.............

Paul Domowitch's NFL power rankings for Sept. 27:

1 Patriots 3-0 (1 last week)
They’re 5th in the league in scoring. Without Brady.

2 Broncos 3-0 (4)

Trevor Siemian threw four touchdown passes against the Bengals.

3 Vikings 3-0 (5) The Vikings defense is on an 80-sack pace.

4 Steelers 2-1 (2)

Steelers have chalked up their 31-point loss to the Eagles as just a bad day at the office.

5 Packers 2-1 (8)

Aaron Rodgers had his first 100-plus passer rating Sunday in 15 games.

6 Chiefs 2-1 (10) The offense has scored one touchdown in the last eight quarters.

7 Cardinals 1-2 (3)

Kangol hats aren’t selling quite as well in Phoenix as they were last season.

8 Bengals 2-1 (6)

Andy Dalton has thrown just two TD passes in 115 pass attempts.

9 Panthers 1-2 (7)

Cam Newton had three interceptions and was sacked eight times in loss to Vikings.

10 Seahawks 2-1 (11)

Russell Wilson expects to play Sunday despite MCL knee sprain.

11 Texans 2-1 (9)

Brock Osweiler is 30th in the NFL in passing, 29th in yards per attempt.

12 Ravens 3-0 (12)

Unbeaten Ravens don’t have to play Steelers or Bengals until Week 9.

13 Eagles 3-0 (15)

Eagles defense has yet to allow a touchdown pass.

14 Falcons 2-1 (17)

Falcons lead the league in scoring and total offense. Now, if they could only play defense.

15 Raiders 2-1 (14)

Raiders have just three sacks in three games.

16 Cowboys 2-1 (19)

Ezekiel Elliott had his first 100-yard rushing performance vs. Bears.

17 Giants 2-1 (13)

Giants will be without injured RB Shane Vereen for at least six weeks, maybe longer.

18 Redskins 1-2 (23)

They’re giving up 30.6 points per game.

19 Rams 2-1 (22)

Wasn’t Jared Goff supposed to be the most NFL-ready QB in the draft?

20 Colts 1-2 (27)

Let’s see if their defense can play any better in jolly old England.

21 Chargers 1-2 (18)

Philip Rivers threw for 330 yards against the Colts. And no touchdowns.

22 Jets 1-2 (16)

Throwing six picks in a game isn’t as easy as it looks. OK, actually it is.

23 Titans 1-2 (20)

DeMarco Murray has averaged 7.2 yards per carry in Titans’ last 2 games.

24 Lions 1-2 (21)

Memo to Carson Wentz: Lions have an NFL-worst 120.2 opponent passer rating.

25 Bills 1-2 (30)

When you force five turnovers, you can get away with your QB throwing for 119 yards.

26 Dolphins 1-2 (29)

What does it say when an OT win over the freaking Browns moves you up three spots?

27 Bucs 1-2 (25) I thought they fired Lovie Smith.

28 Jaguars 0-3 (24)

Blake Bortles has picked a really bad time to regress.

29 Bears 0-3 (26)

Offense has converted just 10 of 33 third-down opportunities.

30 49ers 1-2 (28)

Chip Kelly’s defense has given up 83 points in the last two games.

31 Saints 0-3 (31)

You should’ve walked away, Sean. You should’ve walked away.

32 Browns 0-3 (32)

Ain’t analytics great?

Eagles only get 2 spots for pounding on the Steelers. Yet the Chief's move up 4...
