Intervention threat

My brother stopped by today and over lunch he asked if I was free to have dinner this evening with him and his wife. I thanked him for the invitation but declined saying that I planned to watch the Phillies. He responded by saying that the family was getting worried about my apparent inability to put down the "Phillies hash-pipe" (his words in quotes) and if I could not come to my senses they were planning an intervention. I assume there is a facility somewhere that I would be bundled off to and go through a detox process of sorts. If the Phillies win tonight it would go a long way to keep the monkey on my back.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

Re: Intervention threat

You're in trouble, Phillies up 6-4 in the 3rd.

I've spent most of my money on Waterfowling, Women and Whiskey.
The rest of my money I just wasted.

Re: Intervention threat

If the intervention included drinks and dinner, take it!

You can always fall off the wagon if the Phils start winning again!

Re: Intervention threat

You can't bail on them now. If you do there will only be three people watching on TV.

Re: Intervention threat

I watched the entire catastrophe. Bats were heating up but now they can't field. Aaron N. has apparently misplaced his Mo-Jo. Well, at least they put some points on the board.
