Boomer Esiason on Bengals Game

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foot...this-game-ended

On the postgame show on CBS, Esiason made his opinion of the Bengals' conduct throughout the game known. "This was a disgraceful performance by the Cincinnati Bengals. An ugly performance by one, Vontaze Burfict," Esiason said.

"I'm a former Bengal and I'm embarrassed by the way this game ended and by the way these guys acted on the field today," he continued.

Lastly, he said of head coach Marvin Lewis, "If Marvin Lewis can't control his players, maybe Marvin Lewis shouldn't be standing there on the sidelines coaching."

Pacman Jones had this to say about Antonio Brown after the game.

“Man, that (expletive) was (expletive) acting. He flopped. He needs a (expletive) Academy Award for that performance.”

Re: Boomer Esiason on Bengals Game

I'm just wondering if Steeler fans are sending thank you cards to Hill, Burfict and Jones for the belated Christmas gifts.

Definitely one of the most bizarre endings to a football game I've ever seen.

Re: Boomer Esiason on Bengals Game

I can't remember a game with so many stupid moves. I really didn't think the AB hit was as malicious as the officials did, but he knows he can't do it. The Pac Man penalty may have been the dumbest move I have ever seen from a professional football player. A playoff game on the line with only seconds left, leading by 1 point, and you single handedly move them into an easy FG by getting into a confrontation with, of all things, a coach.

We’re not going to apologize for caring. We’re not.

Yes with the game on the line, you simply turn your back and walk away. It doesn't matter what is said. If you want to do something just point at the scoreboard.

In the NFL today there is general lack of the team concept and too much focus on individuals. They all want the camera focused on them instead of worrying about winning the game.

I was flipping out during the endzone celebration by William Gay and others as well. You can't take a penalty like that. Go to the sidelines and then dance all you want.

It wasn't the dance, it was the other guy coming in.

Re: Boomer Esiason on Bengals Game

If he wanted the camera on him, Pac Man certainly accomplished his goal.

I gotta agree with Boomer's take on Coach Lewis. Controlling your players should be paramount in your coaching duties. Problem is, guys like Pac Man are beyond control.

Btw, not that it matters now, but did anybody notice that after the Steelers recovered Hill's fumble the clock kept ticking for a few seconds after the recovering player was down? I thought they would add about two or three seconds onto the clock but it didn't happen.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seemed that way to me.

Even the Dallas Cowboys thought Pacman was too much of a jerk to play for them.

The Cowboys.

We should send them some Primanti bros sammiches.

That was, without a doubt, the worst loss in NFL history. The NFL network is having a field day with this right now.
