Ithaca SKB

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on the old Ithaca SKB over under shotguns. A guy I know real well approached me with an offer to buy his Ithica SKB. He said that he never considered putting it up for sale but he liked me so much that if I wanted it he would sell it to me. I am going to try to get the model #. All I know is that it is an over under that was bought probably in the late 70s or 80s and has interchangelable parts (cant remeber if it is the stock or barrel) I've seen it and it is a beautiful gun. Maybe fired 15 times. I'll update this tomorrow after I talk to him.

Thanks

Fine shotguns the SKB's. Its probably a model 500 or model 600.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Ithaca SKB

I love the old SKB's.

I have a few older (Model 500 and 600 series), and some newer ones (685 series).

In my opinion, they are some of the best-for-the-money deals out there.

If it's a good gun at a fair price, I'd grab it.

These are good solid guns: well made and durable.
