I had a chance to set up an see see what type of pattern the older model 1100 will print.
The barrel vent rib has a fix modified barrel 12 ga.
Ammo #8 1145 fps
Pattern was 45/55 all pellets in a 25" spread.
45 percent over point of aim
So what do you guys think on how she pattern on paper

I would say that is normal for a field gun, you need to cover the bird to hit it.............

That all sounds pretty good to me. Most field guns are advertised at a 50-50 pattern. A 5% variation can be in the way you hold the gun or the way the gun fits you. Does your barrel have a center bead? Are you looking to change your point of impact? If you want to raise it then raising the height of your combis the simplest way. There are cheap neoprene sleeve is available that slide over the stock with a foam spacer that can be put under them on the comb which allows you to experiment with different heights.

I don't hunt small game but love to shoot sporting clays.
I did shoot a round of skeet with the modified barrel did not do that bad 19 out if 25
At close rang with #8 she shoots a pie plate group
I think # 9 would be a better choice.
I have a early made 20 ga. With a I/C seem to work better on skeet.
