Adjusting point of impact

On my trap gun I want to raise the point of impact of the shot string. The gun has an adjustable recoil pad.

I am thinking that I want to raise the recoil pad and the comb of the stock so that I see more rib thus increasing the visable gap between the front and mid rib beads.

Do I have this right?

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

Yep.
For me, I always liked to line them up, but my dad has his set that there's quite a gap between the middle bead and the front bead. He likes it like that so he can hold below the bird instead of covering it.

GOBBLE THIS!!!
