I'm thinking since Benelli is owned by Beretta it will be similar to the Beretta line with enough changes to make it perfect for marketing.

I got to handle one at the shop today, very lightweight and pulls up really nice. The design, shape, and function are nothing like a Beretta O/U at all. Once they get a 28" barreled version in I might become very interested in it. My only concern would be recoil, it's a very light 12 ga. shotgun.

Thousands of rounds of clays shot here every year and so far since this Benelli has been available, nobody has brought one in. Not saying it will be a bad gun or a great gun, just that most guys won't stray from what they've used for years. Browning guys buy the latest/greatest Browning, Beretta guys buy latest/greatest Beretta, etc... I'm a SxS guy, so I have a lot of choices with vintage guns!!!
