130 total members, 1/3 may be kids or spouses, not included in income revenue.
Only posted here to expose Pensylvanians to oppertunities available to them. This Lease is on the border of 6000 acres of SGL. Not all the deer or other animals are taken in the lease proper. But it benefits the entire area.

I sent a pm asking him to e-mail me the day this was posted asking for the particulars. I got nothing.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Many clubs that are properly managed have positive cash flow, especially with timber sales and gas leasing. The balance goes to the club. Use of that money is ,or should be , set forth in the charter. Many clubs are set up so the money can only be used for club improvements. It's not uncommon for some clubs to have a surprising amount of cash in reserve. I know of one club that many of the members were in favor of dissolving the club to disperse the cash. Supposedly they about $700,000 in reserve. Thankfully for the members that were true to the club's original intention, this never came to pass. Like everywhere else in life, money can cause problems.

Of course this doesn't apply to the op, as I have no idea what their situation is, or their organizational structure. Just giving you a general idea how things generally operate with organized hunting clubs.

Edit: Although with this club, they just lease the land, so timber and gas would go to the land owner, not the club. In clubs that own the land, you must pay a substantial buy in and are awarded a share in the club which is bought back by the club if you decide you want out.

Woodswalker, answered.
Lease is land only.
Overseen by Base camp Leasing, land owned by tree company, OGM rights by another party.
Thanks for the inquiry.
