Looking for Ohio lease

Me and a friend are looking to lease land in east Ohio just over Pa border. Can do year long or by season. Any tips appreciated!

Yup join our club in NE. KY. instead! : )
Seriously though, I been hunting OH. for the past 18 years and if I lose my lease or it gets too expensive ( which is very likely) I know I got a better chance of winning power ball then finding another good lease in OH. Which is the reason that I just leased 1,000 acres in KY. to prepare for the inevitable. I didn't see another guy from PA. my first 2 years hunting OH. Now we are everywhere, in fact I ran into my FedEx guy at the local
laundry mat this past season and I live 4 hours from the OH. state line. I'm also currently looking for a lease in MO.

PETA hates me, but I'm okay with that......

Haha that sucks to go that far and run into people. Im like 6hrs from Columbiana cnty and my buddy is in S Jersey. He has had leases from Basecamp but no one would commit on the following years. Ohio was where we found we can hunt there on a long weekend and be at work Monday. Ky is a rifle state correct? Thats all me I like that lol

I haven't found any properties over the years on Base Camp that looked large enough in size to be able to manage the herd like I currently have in OH. ( I have 1,250 acres now) And that's the only downside to KY., too far to make weekend trips. It's a 7 hour drive to my property in KY. but it's only 5 hours to my property in OH. Yes, you can use rifles in KY. and the 3 week rifle season starts Nov.11th-12th every yr. Which is smack dab in the middle of the rut, in fact my favorite time to hunt the rut is Nov 15th to Thanksgiving.
