Bedford Co. Hunting

Looking for guys that hunt in Bedford Co. to maybe get in with some deer/bear hunters that could use some more bodies on drives. My buddy and his pops just built a cabin out there south of Everett and have been hitting it pretty hard during archery. The older got a decent little 8 pt and a doe and the younger missed a nice buck and passed a bunch of smaller ones on game lands. I'll be getting out there for rifle and hopefully some bear hunting and hope to be hunting out there a lot more in the coming years. If there are any guys in the area that hunt public or private land and could use a couple extra people on drives send me a pm. We'd like to meet some people that hunt around the area as we're trying to learn it.

Ooh, I know that area quite well. You used to be able to drive up and down the road spotting 100's of deer a night. At least it seemed that way. I heard there was quite a buck in the paper the other day. Killed up by Bedford I believe.

“did you get all that on camera sport?”

Re: Bedford Co. Hunting

There are tons of deer down in the fields at night. They don't seem to venture off the private lands too much unless you know the spots. We saw two of the biggest buck I've ever seen in a field one morning. Does anybody know what the general public's opinion on archery hunting out there? Do many people allow it does anybody know? We're going to start knocking in the spring

If i remember correctly most people wont let you hunt but just like everywhere else it will all depend on the people. Some will say yes others will say no, i dont really rifle hunt so when i ask for permission i just mainly ask to beable to bow hunt. Black Valley is know for there big bucks, there was about a 140-150" 12 pointed killed around there in oct.
