Woooo hooo.....back in the T/C game again!

Picked up the frame last week, just took delivery of the forend from Bullberry today. My T/C Hornet is back in business!!

About 20 years ago, I had a T/C Contender with a .22 LR match grade barrel and scope. I also had a .22 Hornet barrel to go along with it. Well, during a divorce my ex said I must have "lost" the frame and .22lr match barrel. Yeah right, I loose my guns all the time. So, all I had was the Hornet barrel and reloading dies.

I kept the barrel for all these years, hoping to get it back up and running. Well, last week I found a local guy selling a frame. Found the forend at Bullberry. Also found a local guy selling a silver Bushnell scope, just like the one I used to have mounted on the T/C. Just waiting for the scope mount to arrive.

Love the Stainless!
And the 'Angry Cougar' quite collectable.
You are definitely ready to get back in the game.
Good shootin'. Can't wait to get the optics on that setup, I'm sure.

Think twice, shoot once.

I'm already getting the itch for a new barrel/caliber.

I am yearning for my first one. I have a bunch of NEF/H&R`s, but no T/C Contenders or Encores. I have a T/C flinter though

Re: Woooo hooo.....back in the T/C game again!

I have a contender in .357 Herrett. My buddy has one and we were shooting his one Sunday afternoon. He wanted me to shoot it and as I was preparing to squeeze off a shot, he said "Wait a minute, I now pronounce you man and gun." Man was he right! I had to have one! Ended up out-shooting him with his own handgun. What fun!

Re: Woooo hooo.....back in the T/C game again!

Herrett wrote the book on squeezin' performance from a 10 inch tube! I dig the wildcats that Reeder comes up with. Steve keep your eye open for an old 270 Ren bbl to compliment your Hornet. It's a Hornet case blown straightwall with a .277 bullet... not a deerslayer but accurate as all get out!

Think twice, shoot once.
